My Childcare Entrepreneur Journey Started back in 2005 when I launched my in-home childcare business at 21. Prior to starting my own childcare, I previously worked as a preschool teacher, and I was so upset by the lack of management and quality care. This led me into starting my own.
I started in one room in my parents home and within 2 Years, I transitioned from my home daycare into a 6-Figure licensed Childcare Center. I owned, operated and Directed the center for ten years.
But..it wasn't easy at all...
The main reason I started my childcare business, was because I LOVED teaching and lesson planning, and knew I could provide a quality service, but my passion without business knowledge led me into running a non-profitable childcare center for the first 4 years, and this led me into being burnt out working 50+ Hours a week. I didn't take care of myself, and the stress caused infertility issues that it took my husband and I six years to get pregnant.
